Fan Control

Automatic Mode

Let the system control fan speeds automatically.

$ uchroma power fan auto
Fans set to automatic control

Manual Mode

Set a specific fan RPM.

# Set both fans to 3000 RPM
$ uchroma power fan manual 3000
Fan RPM: 3000

# Set different speeds for dual-fan systems
$ uchroma power fan manual 3000 --fan2 3500

Options

Option	Description
--fan2 RPM	Set second fan to different RPM (dual-fan laptops)

RPM Limits

Fan RPM must be within the device's supported range. Check with uchroma power status to see the valid range (typically 0-5000 RPM).

$ uchroma power fan manual 6000
Error: RPM must be 0-5000, got 6000

Control CPU and GPU performance boost levels.

Query Current Boost

Show battery status for wireless devices.

Synopsis

Options

Single device:

Battery Indicator

The visual battery bar changes color based on level:

• Green (>50%): Healthy charge
• Yellow (20-50%): Moderate
• Red (<20%): Low battery warning

Charging status is indicated with a lightning bolt icon.

Requirements

• Power commands: Require a Razer laptop with system control support
